WELCOME TO THE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT CENTER

At the Technical Development Center we believe the attributes of a successful player are built on key foundations. These foundations can often be overlooked, but without them a players ceiling for success becomes much lower. At the technical development center we focus on 3 main principles, that create our triangular development all centered around total control of the ball.

i) PASSING ii) RECEIVING iii) DRIBBLING

THEME CYCLE

PASSING : Being able to pass the ball in a variety of ways, with all the different surfaces of the foot. We also work on ability to play with both feet.

RECEIVING : Being able to receive in a variety of ways with different parts of the foot and understanding how to turn in different situations and what is the best way to receive in each situation.

DRIBBLING : Being comfortable with the ball at your feet, and being able to use different areas of both feet to manipulate the ball and always be in total control.

Scanning / Awareness : Building good habits of scanning when receiving and when on the ball and being aware of your surroundings constantly to make the best decisions.

1 core session per week + 1 open play - $100/month

THE WINNING FORMULA:

It all stems from the idea of helping players become the best version of themselves. In order for the Technical Development Center to achieve that we need the best, and the brightest people in the game.

Our team that thrives on creating a personal environment for our players, is led by Jordan Walshaw. Jordan is a graduate of both Sheffield Wednesday, and Chesterfield FC’s academy, in England. His expansive playing career brought him to the US on a playing scholarship, and back home to England to play high level, post graduation. Early in his playing days he knew he wanted to pursue coaching, with an emphasis on technical training, and in 2022 acquired his UEFA B License, which is heavily sought after, and 2023 finalised his Masters degree. We are pleased to have Jordan lead our program, and know his extensive playing, and coaching background will allow players to thrive.

All of our staff have played the game at a very high level, and know what it takes for a player to become the best version of themselves!
